  this movie is such a tour de force and will forever hold a place in my heart. confusion, frustration, and chaos permeate through every moment of the movie, each time we get close to the truth it slips out from reach. from detective park’s shaman eyes to detective suh’s documents, in the end neither provide the answers they so painstakingly worked for.

  “i find it pathetic these stories of women contaminating the universe”

  what a mindfuck of a movie. i never wanted to take my eyes off of anna, every part of adjani’s acting was mesmerizing. watching her go ballistic was in all honesty very satisfying. marks inability to understand what is happening to his wife was for me the thing that stuck out the most—something was clearly wrong with her and it seemed all he could care about was himself in a way. the constant struggle between them, they way they were both crazy, the circular camera work, everything was just amazing. seriously wow
