Besides my favoritism towards supernatural/time traveling topics, it’s uniquely a late night watch. It’s loopy and a little confusing at moments. But Donnie’s character is intriguing, and it’s fun watching moments through his perspective, even though it isn’t really his perspective.

The Holdovers 2023
It’s simple but refreshing. It’s a christmas-y movie without extra pizzazz and if you struggle with the holidays, you’ll enjoy this. It is heart warming even with the extra dry humor thrown in. Makes you connect with each character somehow.

Drop Dead Fred 1991
Evil that it isn’t on any platforms. I think I inadvertently grew up to be like Lizzie, so maybe that’s why this movie is such a soft spot for me, but I love it. It encapsulates what it’s like to try and be perfect and how our childlike nature will always combat that.
