  Anybody who pays attention to me on this site can tell that the last two months had been incredibly tough and I essentially stopped watching anything that wasn't a comfort movie that is already seen 1000 times. I couldnt engage.

  But recently this haze of anxiety had lifted and I am found myself ready to resume my cinephilic tendencies.

  What would I like to consume for my first film back in the mix? Some easy Asian treasure? A bizarre torture…

  Conceptually one of the most horrific films I have seen. Interpreting the events of the film in a literal sense makes it quite a disturbing watch.
