Sorry but no. I could not watch it till the end. I get it, it's super visual, strong and powerful but why show so many scenes of cruelty? After the first 20 minutes you already start hating humans and especially these small men. Or start thinking about the wars happening now and fascism. Toxic masculinity. But then it just keeps going and going, repeating all the cruelty and killing of the animals in close cinematic shots. Probably (hopefully) I missed the strong ending and the idea of the film but I just could not take it.

WTF is this French court system?! Why did they allow the boy in all the hearings? Why the prosecutor speculates whatever (e.g. bisexuality point)?
Apart from this, the actors are super great, the story so subtle and incredibly deep but please remind me not to commit crimes in France.(Also, the dog should be awarded 🫶🏼)
