  If you want to rent on Apple keep in mind it wrongfully says it's a musical in the description, it obviously isn't. Great music by Danny Elfman, but not a musical lol. Felt like a parody of the modern murder doc (at times) that has grown so much in popularity in recent years, made way before that was even a thing. Definitely way ahead of its time IMO. Very well thought out and well done satire on the media/entertainment industry…

  Mystic River 2003

  Left me with an emptiness after watching, but phenomenal. Humanity showcased at a low point here and just how bad it can be. Not even the "good guys" are that good. A traumatic childhood event can cause trauma for decades, for all involved. Great cast and all were really great. Penn, Robbins, Bacon, Fishburne. For me the standout had to be Tim Robbins and his portrayal of this deeply traumatized and shattered man. Had me on the edge of my seat throughout and always kept me guessing.

  Put Fassbender and Blanchett in like 10 more spy thrillers! Loved this! Dialogue was so witty and quickly paced that helped build the whole story. Dinner party sequence was phenomenal! Drone scene was beautifully shot. Both leads excel in this.

  Absolutely destroyed me! Both Gosling and Ewan were incredible! Shame that Gosling isn't doing many roles like this anymore. Don't look too much into it if you plan on watching.
