BILLY FLYNN: could you tell the audienc-- the jury, what happened next?
THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER every musical number was so well done... they did a very VERY good job translating this from a musical to a movie and half of that probably just comes from the fact some of it takes place on an actual stage. and of course it being a theater performance is important for themes which is why its so important that it was delivered so well

my first foray into lynch's filmography! i feel as though i should have started with a movie-- its probably harder to glean an artistic style through a short film. regardless, this was slightly disorienting (in a good way, which i imagine is more of a david lynch thing) and it felt a bit like a .writing exercise you'd do for a drama class? how many turns of phrase and figurative language can you fit in 15 minutes yk. which might also be a david lynch thing idfk ill learn. i need to watch twin peaks
