It was fun to watch but definitely not Oscar-worthy in any category. What did Mikey Madison do to deserve the best actress in a leading role award like be freaking real... Anyhoo Anora is one of many examples of why Academy Awards should not be taken seriously in any world.

My most favorite film after Trainspotting. It has the same striking impact on both the brain and the heart. Oksana's acting performance was so good that I could feel the despair, helplessness, hopelessness in the core of my heart. I was left in tears after some scenes. Depiction of the state of USSR countries was so real, I also like the fact that there is no emphasis on the exact location, since people of USSR nations shared the same ill-fate.…
