The Princess and the Frog 2009
best disney princess movie and it clears so easily it's not even a competition. every song is a banger. naveen is an asshole but tbh id fold too girl. i get it. there's still a lot of criticism abt this movie to be had and it's important that we remember it (why are poc not allowed to be human in these movies bro i've seen charts it's crazy), but damn it is good. i almost cried. they wrapped that shit up in 90 minutes too. god almighty.

God, I love this movie.
An unexpectedly delicate criticism of eco-nihilism (for lack of a better term to my knowledge) and how it intersects with class and wealth. Characters are treated with respect, with their personalities all being distinct and likeable, even in their worst moments. While it does occasionally fall into certain--often uncomfortable--action movie tropes (I'm looking at you, Swedish Princess), it is overall a fresh take on the gentleman spy action film.
