This was an enjoyable movie. It didn’t take many risks, which is why it can’t get past 4 stars, but I was fine with that. Good pace, super cool sci fi world, and god damn it give me more Robert Pattinson!

Halloween 1978
Very suspenseful film…which normally is a good thing but I never really felt scared. I struggle to get past the old school horror movie tropes. Also underestimated how horny this film would be.

Looper 2012
This take on time travel was enjoyable to me. They didn’t get too in the weeds of it, kept it simple. I really like Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an actor, although him portraying a drug addict doesn’t really work….the movie would’ve been better off without it. That’s just a nitpick though, Bruce Willis had some really sick action scenes but there was a large chunk of the movie where I wasn’t hooked on his plot. Also, I wasn’t really hooked on the moral dilemma presented at the end like the director probably hoped I would be.
