My only complaint about the film is the typical American sanitation of reality. The reason Pete Seeger tried to cut out Dylan’s sound was politically motivated not due to the electric instruments. In the turmoil of the 60’s, the Vietnam war, and the protest folk music, Dylan emerged as a protest singer, to quickly leave it behind as he raised to fame, disappointing the political driven Artist community that embraced him.

    Emilia Pérez

A movie that leads nowhere. Keeps circulating around itself in a pool of stereotypes and poorly constructed narratives, picking issue after issue without continuation in a senseless way. It leaves no space for understanding and self discovery since the director treats the audience as idiots singing every thought and feeling a character is experiencing which should be given away by acting and not overly explanatory AI songs.
I speak Spanish and I didn’t understand the mixed accents in the movie…

The power of restraint in Cillian Murphy’s nuance acting is in a total different level and tests your angst to the limit.
A deeply moving story based on cruel past events that can easily return in our present.
And poses the same question without actually doing it: how will you act in face of injustice?

    And Epic, fail.
The downfall of screenwriting for blockbusters.
From appallingly bad performances, to total disregard for historical facts. Gladiator II is a shallow representation of a profound history of human behavior that shaped societies, an opportunity lost that can only be saved by rewatching the original film and forgetting this one ever happened.
