Space Jam for 20 something year olds who grew up with Paramount X-men films.
In all seriousness, it is pretty cute. There's definitely a number of jokes that didn't land, but for every bad joke there would be two funny ones so that's fine. Post-credits footage of BTI scenes made me emotional. I don't see this movie aging very well, but it is a charming send-off.

A Dog's Purpose 2017
Too edgy and pretentious for children. Too banal and stupid for adults. Has nothing for value to say or show to dog lovers other than just. . . the cute dogs of the film. You are not going to get anything from this film, there are far better animal movies that play with your heartstrings in a manner that deserves a sad reaction from the viewer. This was just a giant sign saying "I LOVE EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION" in neon letters. Props to you if you felt touched by this, but it was too jarring to me to even care about the dog.
