La La Land 2016
Honestly just a bit underwhelming... I liked both the main actors performances but I just don't think the singing or dancing is as good as other musicals. I liked that it tried to evoke 'Old Hollywood' glamour but I just don't think it achieved it. Soz :(

Such a fun film! Great twists and turns, both Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant are charming and have great chemistry... my only issue is perhaps the age gap between them, which is slightly creepy seen through the lens of the 21st century. Also if I was (Audrey's character, I forget her name) I would not keep trusting this continually lying man (even if he was Cary Grant)! The Givenchy costumes are beautiful too
