First Lynch film and im in love. This movie imparts its dreamlike quality so effectively though precise mastery of the camera, lighting, sound, and astounding performances. It is funny, sensual, and terrifying. I will not confess to having a through grasp of the story but Lynch manages to convey the themes and vibes so well that I don't need too. Love, dreams, and the failure of both define this film and I will be thinking about it for a hot minute.
