I wanted to shake and hug poor Cynthia at the same time. Her terrible timing when she told everyone at the table and the staring at Hortense when she got back. I quickly changed my mind and realized this is what reality is like. Everything in the moment happens naturally no matter how much you plan. When Maurice goes off, I felt for Jane, the sweet bystander. Heartwarming and real and yet another movie that inspires me to want to adopt ❤️

The innocence of the girls’ childhood conjured up soft, warm, free-spirited feelings. “Life’s too short to be angry at one’s sister” was a big sister moment that we take for granted. We can all identify with each character in this film. Also sparked my creativity juices, very inspiring.
