An exercise in patience that removes anything unnecessary or harmful to just focus on a singular matter: trauma. Reaching with respect, the film delves into and becomes the outlook in trauma. A rather unique quality for a film, we're not meant to look into trauma but instead as viewers look outward as sympathy for trauma ridden individuals is not what the film demands. This is the quintessential cinematic experience of the past 10 years of my life. It's stunning how well the film juggles humor, heart and hype so efficiently and keeps it at balance.

A film so universal, described or rather visualised through such simplicity that it mesmerizes me. Shadows, hills, the sunlight during noon, sunset, the falling sand, the car used as a vehicle not only for it literal sense but as a perspective into Badii, the illumination of the faces by the softer sun, the pure ambience of the atmosphere that gives you a quietness on pure auditory sense, but upon introspection screams of poignancy of life itself, and the landscapes, BOY THE LANDSCAPES. Its as if nature itself was trying to reel you in into Badii's mindset.

    Thoroughly and utterly incredible.
