  honestly wasn’t a big fan of the storyline, it wasn’t that bad in terms of like cgi i don’t think (i did not have my glasses on while watching this) but it wasn’t entirely bad. the storyline was bugging me a little bit because it was kinda choppy in my opinion and rushed in a sense? and the transitions to the next scenes— omg some were so bad i nearly started dying laughing. a lot more could’ve been done with this movie i fear :(

  absolutely incredible. the symbolism of godzilla and how koichi is unable to escape the outcome of his position in the war and the consequences that ensued was something i really enjoyed watching. How he adjusts to life after the war is also something that was very entertaining to me as well as how godzilla serves as a never-ending reminder of his faults and how he steps up in a sense. overall, amazing movie.

  holy cow. this movie was amazing. i held off watching it for a bit (i shouldn’t have. it was so good.) but this movie was so good visually and just really made me feel emotional? i feel like this movie is a GREAT example of how things that have happened to you tend to stick with you and change how you perceive life. this movie was so emotional for me and i absolutely loved it and i 100% recommend it. a definite favorite. it’s overall meaning really did not hit me until the very end and i shed a tear or multiple after finishing it.
