  funny until it's not. what a genius blend of comedy, vulnerability, and intensity. how it navigates the spectrum from humor to heartbreak. how it showcases the characters' multidimensional reality while shining a light on the overlooked and voiceless

  oh, existentialism once again 

  honest and moving;
  honest because, yes, it’s a biopic, but it’s not just about glorifying the character, it manages to make you love him but at times also really hate him 
  moving because it visually takes us through his journey, connecting each phase of his life to his songs and lyrics

  and yes, I did shed quite the tears throughout + with every song
