Like the first film, I loved many of the visuals and thought the central lead performance was extraordinary. But also like the first film, the last moments try to pull the rug out from under the audience in the most cliché unsatisfying way possible. However, it’s even worse in this case as it also basically renders the whole third act of the movie completely pointless

Left with the feeling that the film purposely decided to cut around what would be the most interesting scenes. Wish we were given more insight to what drives these two people towards this relationship and what they both get out of it beyond just satisfying an urge. There are several hints that point to something more that I wanted the film to elaborate on further

Kind of like a sung-through version of a biopic, which certainly helps it stand out amongst the other recent rock musicals. However, while all of the actors do incredible jobs with the musical numbers, the fact that they overshadow so much of the other aspects of the movie speaks to the areas where the film is lacking

A wild and creative horror film that really leans into the 70s aesthetic to great effect. The AI generated images in the movie are so inconsequential and on screen for such a short amount of time, it boggles my mind why they were used at all. Hopefully they are just replaced by the time it hits streaming services
