  Its the perfect movie for the father-child symbolism into becoming what you swore to avoid. From having a strict and militant father to switching your entire life around just to come back and go into survival mode almost immediately and slowly changing into the “monster” that you were afraid of as a child. Practical fx was top tier, seeming that the makeup artists and blum took inspiration from oregon natives that describe “Face of the Wolf” and not exactly Lon Chaney Jr.’s or Rick Baker’s “Wolfman/Werewolf”. The attention to detail was incredible. deserves 5 stars.

  very 2000s gritty camerawork and raw sfx since cgi at the time wasnt that great. just overall still a great movie and well done set design and costume design
