Sort of no words to explain this movie.
Something that really begs to be experienced. The visuals and saturated colors are mesmerizing, which paired with the meditative score and heightened sound design create such a stylized masterpiece. Tarkovsky literally sacrificed his life for this movie and its production. A stellar piece of art that deserves its praise.
very chaplin-esque. the physical comedy and expressions from mr tati were excellent.

After reading some of this film's reviews here on Letterboxd, I felt an overwhelming feeling of frustration.
In regards to the movie, thematically and narratively this film excels, delivering a look into low-income rural America. The leading performances, especially McDormand, are excellent and really convey the depth of each character. great movie.
