How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2000
Andrew- 2nd best Christmas movie of all time with best performance in a Christmas movie to meet it, great laughs and superb filler material to flesh out the story in a way that adds new characters and improves on the existing ones
Mace- a masterpiece of masterpieces, I hope the mayor never has a good Christmas again. The grinch was right, I’d act that way too if everyone was that awful to me

The Muppet Christmas Carol 1992
Catching up on a backlog from the holiday season so buckle in folks
Andrew- it’s a Muppet movie, with Michael Caine trying as hard as he can for an Oscar nom, and it has great original music. What a banger! And props to Brian Henson for giving Gonzo the spotlight he deserves in this one
Mace- fell asleep about a third in, but appreciated Caine’s Shakespearean approach to a muppet film
Good Christmas movie. Good muppet movie. But not the best of either

The Princess Bride 1987
Andrew- such a fun movie for being so poorly paced and edited. I want the bedroom cut of the film where it’s just the grandfather reading the book in a thick Chicagoan accent to a small boy, no other actors.
Mace- thought the steak was a little more pink than I would prefer but really enjoyed the mashed potatoes.
All things considered, a great date night! Happy flying diaper bay day folks!Translated from by -
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial 1982
Macy- children…WOW
ET….spooky
But all together they really don’t write scores like this anymoreAndrew- this might be a perfect film, and I think realizing that this and how to train your dragon are the exact same movie only made me love them both more.
