  it’s not always easy to describe a Maya Deren film since they are so strange yet still always seem to have a connection throughout the films. but she knows what she’s doing, and i absolutely adore that.

  this movie makes me feel emotions i dont even know how to describe. the story of Elio and Oliver, the way this movie is filmed in such beautiful way in Crema in Italy, how Sufjan Stevens beautiful soundtrack play multiple songs throughout the movie, Timothée’s acting and role as Elio. this movie seems so real and at the same time sort of poetic to me. call me by your name makes my imagination grow and i cant help but dream…

  i really liked how this short silent film were made. the whole way through it i felt like analysing it as it felt inspiring to me. the way it was sort of mysterious and some of the same clips reappeared just did something cool i think. Meshes of the Afternoon is quite unique and i really like that.

Following
