  Trilogy of Terror 1975

  Karen Black owns this movie from start to finish.
  ToT is definitely on one Dan Curtis' best efforts, hands down. Black is astonishing in each segment. She is given much to do here since author extraordinaire Richard Matheson supplies the fantastical and creepy stories. We all know and love the last arc "Amelia" because of Black's brutal encounter with the Fetish Zuni Doll. But, it's the middle segment "Millicent & Therese" where Karen Black flexes her dynamic and enrapturing acting chops. ToT is always fun and terrifying to revisit.
  I came across it earlier on Sling TV and had to watch.

  Bram Stoker's Dracula 1992

  this movie CANNOT get any better. a goddamn masterpiece. some say a flawed masterpiece and I'll take that as a win. I was so obsessed with this film back in 1992. I bought all the merch. from tee's to calendars to script to the Topps comic books and to the making of book. second time watching in 4K. looks incredible. 🩸

  My favorite Friday sequel. Watched the 4K last night. Amy Steel as Ginny is quick on her feet and doesn't scare easily. She is my fav final girl from this franchise. Also, sack head Jason is absolutely terrifying. Part 2 also continues the trend of the shock final jump scare!

  It was utterly amazing watching Hugh Grant pontificate about religious priorities and deconstructing the "big 3" I hung on Grant's every word. and his observations all ring dangerously true. Kudos to the Monopoly and Radiohead moments.
