Whiplash 2014
Whiplash is a marvelous movies that portrays the determination and struggle to be the best there ever is. Miles Teller delivers the perfect portrayal of a musician giving their all to rise above everyone else while being humiliated by none other than Oscar-winning J.K. Simmons. Simmons gives an Oscar worthy performance in playing the anti-hero by forcing Teller to be the best drummer, but through unconventional means. Whiplash, in my opinion, is the greatest film ever made. The story, along with the emotions and character portrayal are exemplary and again, in my opinion, second to none.
