    ★★★★

Nightsiren is a Czech folk horror movie that tells the story of a young woman who returns to her small village, which she fled as a child after traumatic events. The Innocent

    ★★★★

L'Innocent starts with a middle-aged woman working with convicts to produce a stage play in prison. She is in love with one of the prisoners, a talented actor who is about to be released. There's a light touch to L'Innocent that belies some dark material. And its central plotline is involving and well observed. I found it charming.
