  Rather stunning, finally a movie by Nolan I didn’t feel utterly lost in. Murphy has been waiting to debut on the big screen and he gave a rousing performance beyond my expectations. If Nolan knows how to do anything it’s showing a man in utter turmoil, lost between his morals and legacy. Also, the multifaceted lens of history that history makers have to deal with.

  I love this film. No matter how many times I’ve watched it I find something new to love! Engaging, thrilling, and the social commentary on contemporary South Korean culture was so thoroughly present through the film! Societal standards of traditional patriarchal leadership, fear mongering, health, and family dynamics.
