  characters very 1-dimensional. they made completely insane decisions only to move the plot forward. i only cared for the robot, the others made no effort to earn their screentime. prioritized cheap and predictable horror gimmicks over lore. i found the racial metaphor interesting but it never became anything more than filler. had potential in the beginning but went nowhere with anything besides boring predictable plot foreshadowing bullshit. just another safe action horror flick with no risks. well shot, you can tell they put in an effort in the technical department this time. 2,5 for visuals and suspense building

  a pretentious non-binary hipster teenager and her horrible dysfunctional family tries to save the world from bad phone along with an emotional subplot so pathetically unoriginal that you probably already figured it out from the beginning of this sentence. every character is a one dimensional, unlikable, selfish piece of shit but they tell jokes so its okay 👌
