Speed Racer 2008
Near masterpiece very slightly brought down with its sense of humor. This movie has unforgettable visuals, great storytelling, exciting action, and so very much heart. My first big experience with Michael Giacchino and it's still one of his best scores by him.

Labyrinth 1986
This is like if Alice in Wonderland was good. The sets and puppets were amazing. The world was cool. It had a bunch of cool scenarios. The script was weak enough to lose it some points but not enough to take away from how wonderfully unique this 80'tastic family friendly acid trip is.
