A disturbingly comedic and dark look at what madness does to people. Killing of a Sacred Deer is such a haunting pleasure and it hasn’t left my mind since I’ve seen it. I do believe it’s Yorgos Lanthimos’ best work. I did find The Lobster enjoyable, and I do believe it’s more accessible than this one, but I think the style, writing, deadpan performances, and cinematography just really work for this film.
