  The worst movie I’ve seen in fifteen years.

  I tried to like it, but I gave up after twelve minutes–a personal record. The screenplay was idiotic, and the dialog had all the insight of driving directions given by a cerebral palsy victim.   Films like this make me an even bigger fan of Mads Mikkelsen and director Thomas Vinterberg. This is a VERY disturbing story--a cautionary tale?--about drawing conclusions from isolated information. (Sounds like what much of the world is doing right now.) I credit the more subtle (understated) style of storytelling and acting for making this relatable and, therefore, compelling. I'm STILL thinking about this film.
