Less a film but a brand extension for Clooney and Pitt who are capitalizing on their Ocean’s Eleven trilogy residual charm and goodwill. An entertaining and funny thriller that delivers on its promise of a good time. A reminder of how Clooney and Pitt, now elder statesmen, may be the last of the true movie stars.

A staggering marriage of style and substance featuring performances for which superlatives were coined. A definitive horror film for any parent (like me) that posits some uncomfortable questions such as “Am I somehow creating a monster with how I raise my child?” A near-perfect masterpiece.

A remarkable tale of friendship, resilience and courage that, while completely wordless, conveys multitudes. A gorgeously animated fable that moved me to my core. A testament to the power of cinema. Bravo.

A funny fish out of water New Yawk courtroom comedy by way of Alabama that I’ve slept on for over thirty years. A great running gag on unwanted wake up calls throughout the entire film. A brassy, winning Marisa Tomei playing someone who is smarter than she appears to be. A performance truly deserving of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar because it is a great supporting turn.
