Might be a hot take but there is an essential quality of Hugh grant that builds it and ties it together. If you thought this movie was ass and overly simplistic and not executed I can definitely understand where you’re coming from. But rewatching the polygamy scene and trying to pick apart the layers of grant’s character a bit more than a cursory reflection will have you thinking a lot ab the intentions which is more than deserving of a really high enjoyability
