The Iron Claw 2023
For anyone that is pretty close with their siblings, I think this movie hits the emotional notes very well. The tragic story of the von Erich's is well chronicled here, but it starts to drag a little at the end. The viewer keeps asking, "how could it possibly get worse?" unfathomably sad true story. Cinematography was excellent.

The Tree of Life 2011
Hard to put into words how I feel after watching this work. But I feel. It's an experience unlike any other movie I have ever watched. Malick makes you feel like a participant in this story that is both simple and overwhelmingly massive in scope. The questions it raised in my mind are ones I believe I will continue to revisit. Not sure I fully understood it, but I fully experienced it.
