  Folks, they just don't get any better than this. I couldn't have asked for (or predicted) a better finale to my new favorite horror series. These movies, and the others in Shiraishi's connected worm universe, are on a whole 'nother level. This series would absolutely be considered a classic if more folks just knew about it, so I won't stop singing its praises until we're able to have the whole set sitting on our shelves!

  I'm loving Toho's new tradition of pantsing Warner Brothers as soon as the royalty checks clear from their crappy movies.

  Takashi Yamazaki has had this story fermenting in his mind since 2007 and it fucking shows. It's possibly the most sincere and devastating Godzilla movie made since the original. I loved his Godzilla and every one of his characters.

  It's schmaltzy, but it's fucking great.
