Classic Nolan non-linear story telling. Movie starts with a good level of mystery. The way it loops on itself is well done and never trips up on itself.
Old ass movie with unquestioned woman hitting. Felt like they weren't sure how to end it either so it was slightly disappointing.
I understand that it's very barbones as it is the prototypical zombie film. Despite this you can see the strong foundation it sets and is still a fun film to watch with a handful of distinct characters.
this has nothing on hitchcock's birds. Miyazaki is not washed btw but this is fairly straightforward as far as ghibli movies go
