Sometimes you wish a movie was just a 5 minute instructional video. This is great tho!
I have gotten tired of the storytelling trope that cuts to a character’s backstory as they reach some pivotal beat in their arc. But between the shots of chemical mixing and detonator tests, these backstory cuts served as their own step in the “recipe” for building a bomb.
The one offender was Alisha’s story, which seemed particularly expository & preachy. It felt like all the movie wanted me to know about her decision making was debatable— not emotional — which was unlike the other backstories & the Alisha we were shown.

gforce delivers a rarely-seen perspective into the inner workings of the mind of a guinea pig. i watch a lot of children’s youtube videos of hamsters escaping cardboard minecraft mazes, and i think this movie must be what being a rodent is like.
my two criticisms are also confused with what i enjoyed about gforce. first, and most transparent, is that this movie is US military propaganda that licks the boots of the FBI. the mysterious villain is postured as…
