Full disclosure I work for Warner Bros Animation.
I don't do anything that ends up on screen, but it ends up screen because of the work I do. (Pipeline engineer)
That said, I loved this movie, I work and sought a job at WBA because of my love for Looney Tunes and this is truly everything a Looney Tunes movie should be.
It's part The Thing, Alien, Armageddon and 100% Looney. Incredibly proud of the team at WBA for crafting such a great animation and thankful to Ketchup Entertainment for believing in traditional 2D animation in 2025.
Good not great.
Highlights are Robert Pattison and Toni Collettes' performances, fun world building, and a few impactful scenes.
Despite its "out there" premise, the story itself and especially the ending are just pretty generic, with the ending feeling particulary rushed.
Some personal dislikes:
- not a fan of voice over 99.9% of the time. This was no exception.
- prefer subtle commentary, this lays on the satire pretty thick.
Those are very subjective though, so on that front YMMV.
Worth a watch.
Whatever year this came out, it was the worst movie of that year. Don't even have to look it up.

Personally, I don't get it, it's too humorless, the fight choreography/editing/shooting is lackluster and it's so damn silly.
It's not awful, but I really liked Prisoners and Sicario and Arrival, so my distaste is partially not the film, but that we're probably losing a whole decade of his career to this.
Sidenote: The trope of arabic-esque music whenever people have robes and are near sand dunes is hilarious.…
