A story that spans generations, BICENTENNIAL MAN is simultaneously sad and sweet.

I welcome the Russos brothers trying out a strong visual style, from the title cards for dividing the sections, to the experimentation in color and breaking the fourth wall, it's very refreshing especially in such a dramatic and thematically heavy film even if it doesn't land every time. The epilogue felt somewhat unnecessary and more of a "feel-good" tack-on unfortunately. Last thing I'll say is I really can't get over how young Ciara Bravo looks in this tbh.
