  Drive takes it's time without ever getting boring. I like that, because most action movies nowadays are pretty fast and some even rushed. Therefore you don't have the time, like in "Drive", to enjoy how beautiful the movie and its soundtrack are.   Wenn zwölfjährige, „alternative“, möchtegern  Emokids eine FanFiction über Jared Letos Joker schreiben, kommt „The Crow“ dabei rum. Es hätte nur gefehlt, dass Eric „Damaged“ auf der Stirn stehen hat.

  Spaß beiseite, alles was ich beim Original gelobt habe und was mich eine Verbindung zu den Charakteren (insbesondere Eric Draven) aufbauen hat lassen, wurde in diesem Film missachtet.

  Ganz große Klasse!
  Cineastisch einfach brachial: die Bilder sind unglaublich, der Regen, die Farbgebung, die Kostüme, die Musik.
  Und "The Crow" lässt mich fühlen. Ich kann mich in Eric hineinversetzen. Ich spüre Erics Schmerz, Erics Hass, Erics Verzweiflung und natürlich Erics Liebe.
  Es ist hervorragend wie wir mit ihm zusammen diese Liebe in Rückblenden erfahren, als er sich an seine geliebte Shelly erinnert. Das ist der Inbegriff von "Show don't tell". Eric erkennt nach und nach seine Fähigkeiten und begreift…

  I gotta admit, the story is kinda lame, althought it was fun to see something from the universe, before the time of Geralt. Also the atmosphere is definitely given and the action is just great. The blood could have a little more impact in my opinion though.
  This movie looks fantastic too, I don't know, but it just works for me.

  Wow. Wirklich grandios schlecht. 
  Also zu allererst, wer wollte überhaupt einen Borderlands Film? Die Fans der Spielereihe waren es, soweit ich mitbekommen habe, nicht….

  Claptrap ist unglaublich nervig und unlustig den gesamten Film über. Ich weiß allerdings nicht ob es am Drehbuch oder an der schlechten Synchro von Chris Tall liegt (ja ich hab ihn gezwungenermaßen auf Deutsch geschaut).
