  This came out when I was 14. As a German-Cambodian, I was stoked about the representation of my country, the scenery of the streets that look like home, even looked past the Thai girl's accent.

  Looking back, I remember the film much better than it actually is. I'm not interested in re-watching 14 years later, I know I would be bothered to the max by its clichés and its whole portrayal of South-East Asian sex tourism. And if I think about it, there was no point where I felt any romance between them. I'll give it 2 stars only for the sake of my own nostalgia.
