I watched this movie with my mum.
My mum gave up her career in order to migrate to a developed country to provide me with a better upbringing.
We sat through the credits, and afterwards, she called my grandmother to tell her she loved her very much.
I think about the indignities my mother and her mother faced. I think about the sacrifices my mother and her mother made. I think about my mum going hungry so that at least I could afford to eat.
It takes a great movie to quietly scream.
