Visions of Light 1992
My favorite documentary about filmmaking and the reason why cinematography is my favorite element of film. I first saw it in a college film class in 1996 and have probably watched it at least once a year since.

Breakin' 1984
Not exactly Citizen Kane but this Cannon classic was my favorite flick when I was a 7-year-old living overseas and dreaming of being a breakdancer like Turbo (Boogalo Shrimp). I would even pop in Kraftwerk when I had to sweep the kitchen floor.
I was devastated when I bought a DVD copy that clearly shows the strings attached to the broom. It wasn't visible on my Betamax copy which was a copy of a bootleg in Saudi Arabia.
The film also has a great cameo by a dancing JVC and a pre-gangster Ice-T.
