I watched this film at home on my Tv screen but I couldn’t get used to the extreme wide angle POV that was ever present. Perhaps watching this on a big screen would have lessoned my annoyance.
Because of this very restrictive device the film had a lot to do in other areas. But unfortunately the story was one dimensional and relatively undeveloped. Watch this in the dark at the cinema and perhaps you’ll have the occasional thrill, but in general Presence lacked anything other than an idea.

A really interesting look at a particular slice of life- Gritty and in places beautiful with a touch of magical realism - probably an arthouse movie but a brilliant original filmmaker at her very best. A superb performance from Nykiya Adams with supporting cast of Barry Keoghan make this one for aficionados.
