I absolutely loved how Empuraan fearlessly tackled our socio-political landscape in the first half, a kind of bold storytelling that’s rare these days. Murali Gopy was at his peak there. However, I felt the film lingered a bit too long in that phase before transitioning into the global cartel wars and its intricate subplots. Hopefully, the third installment will dive deeper into that world.
