  i had to watch this twice, per-scene. in the early seconds, my brief thought was ‘Oh, it’s a father-daughter relationship…’
  so, i took a few breaths to prepare myself for what was about to happen, or mainly because i am personally sensitive about this topic.

  i think i’m used to looking forward to something big in a movie, like a cause-and-effect catastrophe. in this case, i should’ve been paying attention to the little details in those little moments.
