The Platform 2 2024
this was so disappointing 😭 even the first one wasn’t that good but the story had so much potential. nothing even really happened, fights were boring, characters weren’t detailed, and the overall direction was lost like 20 mins in 💀 QUIERES PIZZA!!! (does nothing)

The movie is very old but its messages still hold some relevancy. I think it was beautiful how the mirroring sides of labor was shown in their own respective hardships, only to then show a feminist’s approach to resolve the other side. Would’ve had more of an impact if they had shown other striking men vocalizing themselves like Ramon did. why am I writing this who is watching this

spoiler review kinda but if u haven’t watched this movie go watch 😭 even if you are not a fan of jazz music or band settings in general it’s meaning runs far deeper. The constant battle for control over Andrew’s own life and his shortcomings trailing him everywhere he stands made you anxious about his future especially with what happened to Sean. The ending was beautiful, what started as a humiliation ritual and battle for revenge from a psychotic teacher, turning into his true desire from (potentially) his biggest enemy. Idk man movie was just amazing
