Always surprises me how emotional I get with this film. I think I sometimes approach C. Nolan films with a hint of skepticism just because they are known to be pretentious but looking past that I've enjoyed every single one. Even the jokes hit and were perfectly emotionally charged.

In short, very enjoyable.
Meryl Streep owns her role as the intimidating and demanding Miranda and Stanley Tucci appears as an intelligent, lovable dilf. Anne Hathaway begins as too pretty for her part as Andy, but this can be overlooked for the sake of the movie.
The story, although simple, is compelling. Funny enough for a few good chuckles, and overall; well polished. The main fault I find is the portrayal of Andy's lovers, one appearing in many ways immature…
Very taken by this
It felt organic and conveyed oceans of emotion. I genuinely felt changed by the end.
As perfect an adaptation as any reader could have hoped for.
Highly recommended.
