I really enjoyed watching Juror #2! The plot line was unique and suspenseful until the very end. The only thing I disliked was the writing behind the protagonist's wife. To me, the writers just wanted to portray her as a moody, pregnant lady and let her be. They could've showcase more of her (and her husband's) humanity through diving into the alcoholism of the main character in greater depth. The short line he gave in the movie about how some girl saved him (aka his wife) was weak as hell. Otherwise, great movie through and through!!!
I enjoyed the first half of the movie. Once it became clear that the villain cared only about power and was planning to imprison the girls from the start, I tuned out. For a R movie about kidnapping and imprisonment, the directors could have done so much more. I feel like Heretic was a weak attempt at a psychological horror involving belief systems and willpower that ultimately fell flat on its face upon delivery.
