This might be the perfect wholesome family movie. The Jinnouchi clan is such a charming, fun cast in both languages, and having so many different personalities not only adds flavor to conversations, but leads to natural drama and a more earned sense of triumph when they all come together again in the end. Oz is such a great representation of the Internet, and the main conflict that spawns there ties into the theme of togetherness and family so well. Love…

Glad I took this recommendation from my brother. Denzel does really good as a well-meaning, more deliberate and quieter John Wick. The few action scenes were done well, and the soundtrack was really good.

Fantastic Four 2015
I can’t imagine who thought a grimdark adaptation of the Fantastic 4 was a good idea. The 2005 move might’ve been kind of dumb, but this was boring in the start, depressing in the middle, and kind of grotesque at the end. But still lame throughout. It’s no wonder everyone calls this Fant4stic, because it really doesn’t deserve the name it holds.

Happy to say that this was a bit of an improvement over the first movie IMO. Everyone feels more in-tune with their characters, Doug Jones and Laurence Fishburne are pretty good as Silver Surfer, and the plot feels more like a F4 adventure. That said, a lot of the personal conflicts feel underbaked, and this is not a good adaptation of Galactus and the kind of threat he poses. Good attempt, but still doesn’t measure up to the X-Men or Spider-Man movies that came before, or the start of the MCU later.
