i really didn’t think id get through this movie. the first 45 mins were so boring and i did not gaf and it just didn’t feel very compelling. i stayed bc the fight scene was actually hilarious and everything following was great. i loved the group of 4 going around nyc and the character dynamics were so good. looooved igor and the other guy.
i do feel like anora is kind of a one dimensional character…

actual review: this movie is so fucking insane. i need a pepto bismol. it’s so gross and actually absolutely bonkers. the cinematography feels violent and abrasive, which makes you feel as uncomfortable as the characters are, and the set design and focus of the camera is disorienting. yes the movie is crazy but it also has things to say about sex appeal and self image and exploitation. i really liked it, i just don’t think ill be able to watch it again unless im on the verge of greening out and have had a preemptive pepto bismol.
